Ahg, so busy!!!

As someone pointed out, I haven't been updating this for a while. I have my excuses:
1) I'm busy teaching and trying to appease my boss's constant nagging
2) I'm teaching seven students, 3 privately
3) I'm teaching
4)...etc.
...
10) I'm dancing.
If you wanna come with me to Boogiezone NJ/Rhythmology/Project d dance classes, call me up!! Being the only person at those events is...not as great as being in a group, especially if you don't pick up choreo as fast as others.
Ok, other thoughts.
I'm finding myself getting more and more addicted to Haruki Murakami by the second. Every time I find myself in a bookstore, which is like 2/3x every week, I'm always (re)reading his novels and short stories. He's such a great storyteller, and his prose just feels more naturally connected to (my) life than the prose of other authors. If you've read/are reading him, you know what I"m talking about. Seriously, check out this guy. He's great. Haruki Murakami. Go. Now.

About that....

Oh yeah, btw, about the giant picture I posted up...I could have shrunk it. But, going with the theme of the picture, I'm lazy.
This was on the way to the Japanese tea gardens, which were amazing, I highly recommend it.
And oh yeah, if you get a chance, take a photo on the exact same statue with the exact same pose and email it to me if you get a chance (jim32990@yahoo.com). I'll appreciate you immensely. You'll be my friend automatically, no questions asked.

Lazy summer...what else?

Ugh, soooo lazy. But so busy....just danced for about 4 hrs in front of my mirror that makes me look like a dancing stick. It's kinda funny. Oh well....
Oh someone the other day asked me why exactly I dance so much, where that desire comes from. Well, I do have an exact answer; I think I've figured it out. But it's complicated. Maybe I'll explain it in a future post....but for right now I'll just say it's because dancing is a way of getting thoughts off my mind. It's just like someone who paints, or composes, or starts a blog...it's a way of getting out whatever's on your mind. And believe me the moment I hear music a million things start clicking...and I have no choice but to put them up.

Hmmm...summer

First entry, um, really don't have anything exciting to say. Check back in soon and I'll have something good to say.
For those of you who know me, well, here's an update of what I've been doing over summer:
1) I've been trying to choreograph stuff, tough to do when you have a mirror the size of half your body.
2) I'm starting to attend Boogiezone classes in NJ next week (any1 wanna come with?)
3) I'm currently up to my neck with SAT work (I'm teaching a classroom course, privately tutoring, and still doing marketing stuff), and you betcha it's gonna get a whole lot busier.
4) I"m learning to play the guitar. I'm pretty decent at this point, like i can play a few songs. Currently trying to learn "Going Home" by Shiro Sagisu, sooo hard!!! If you don't think so, you try learning it.
5) Expanding my music list. Lots of R&B, Hip hop songs added.
6) Playing tennis and basketball. Uh, my game is so bad right now.
7) Finished first novel over summer, Life of Pi, about a month ago. Really great read, highly recommend it. Getting back to older stuff like Murakami.
8) I'm gonna make sum dedication vids to my friends at Stanford soon, when I"m not busy.
9) Um...I've run out of things to list.
